Mixed • This class is good for all levels of ability. The cuing and pacing is relatively quick but options and modifications are given regularly to enable all students to be successful. Students are encouraged to work at their own level and to make the positioning the priority for each exercise. Movement is layered on after form and alignment is perfected. This is the ideal class to work on perfecting your practice while continuing to be challenged.
Principles • An ideal class for students that are new to the Method and for experienced Students that want a truly focused work out. This class allows for time to assimilate the name and basic alignment principles for each exercise. There are less variations taught and more holds and cuing so that Clients can trulyunderstand each position, why they are doing it and how to refine their own alignment within each exercise. This is incredibly beneficial for education for the newer students and for experienced students to improve their own practice.
Dailey Interval • A 45-minute interval class that is a great complement to our traditional Dailey Method classes. It is based on the same foundation and alignment principles but provides amazing heart strengthening benefits by combining periods of high and low intensity movements. Your heart rate will be elevated and then brought down multiple times within each class for optimal caloric burn. We request that students take 30 or more principles or mixed level classes prior to attending in order to have an understanding of each of the TDM poses/positions/alignment principles.
Express • A similar format as the Mixed class, but in 45-minutes. Designed to help you get a great workout in when you have less time in a day to exercise. Must have attended a minimum of 10 Mixed and/or Principles classes prior to attending.
Dailey+ • A class for the experienced student who wants to go further into their practice and have an incredibly self-focused and challenging workout. Advanced alignment cues help to increase one's own internal body awareness and faster paced transitions, choreography and stretching segments take your "dailey" practice to a new level. These elements will work to create deeper contractions in postures and poses both in and outside the studio classroom. We request that students take 30 or more principles or mixed level classes prior to attending in order to have an understanding of each of the TDM poses/positions/alignments and their names.
Please note some classes may not be available at all locations.
